I am a special ed teacher in a low-income district. I work with students in two inclusion classes and provide small group, individualized instruction. My students have a variety of needs and are performing below grade level in all subjects. Despite this, they are incredibly hard working and motivated. Everyday they come to school ready to learn and persevere no matter how difficult school gets. They are extremely kind and thoughtful students who work together and want to help each other learn and grow.
