Students in the Life Skills program have opportunities to learn skills that they will apply to future jobs. One of the in-class jobs that they will practice and rotate through focuses on skills they can use in an office or business setting.
Often, people think that students in the Life Skills program have limited job options after graduating from high school and we want students to know that they can and will succeed! Using the paper shredder in class will give students the ability to practice office and safety skills. Students will internalize the skills taught in class and be able to apply them during their community service and job placements.
