These iPads will help students with various abilities and several different types of disabilities be able to attain and participate in the general education curriculum as their non-disabled peers do. It will assist the students in feeling a part of the community by allowing them to have commonalities among their “typical” peers, which is something students with disabilities often struggle with. In addition, these iPads will help students with utilizing programs that allow texts to be read aloud to them in English as well as their native languages. They will also have access to programs that assist them in learning and masters new concepts by providing the repetition and remediation many of them require to be a successful learner
About my class
