It is time to replace my old, worn out classroom carpet. We spend a lot of time learning on the carpet. We have mini-lessons, group discussions, read alouds and partner reading all on the carpet. A fresh new carpet will make our time working together more comfy and enjoyable, not to mention healthier. Students love to huddle together reading or working on a STEM activity. They want a clean, comfortable spot to spread out and get lost in their reading or work on a project together. My students will benefit greatly from having a new place to do all our work.
