Technology is vital in today’s modern classroom. Providing students with a variety of modalities to read gives them a chance to develop reading skills for life. Having tablets readily available in the classroom will increase students desire to read independently, thus improving their reading stamina and skills. Students will be able to not only use the tablets to read, but they will also be able to view video clips on various topics connected with topics in reading. This will allow the students to meet state standards merging media with related topics in reading; using technology as an effective learning tool.

About my class
