The world around us is full of color! Everywhere you look there are different shades of color. I teach 120+ 7th graders that are as vibrant, and unique as all of the shades of color in the world! I want to celebrate their diversity by giving them the opportunity to showcase their personalities with color. Having the ability to print in color makes students' work come alive! It sparks a sense of joy in children when they see their projects, artwork, and classwork displayed the way they envisioned it.
This year, I will have special education and English as a new language students. My classroom will have diverse levels of learners. I plan to meet the needs of my students by using the printer to differentiate materials needed for student growth, engagement and success. Our school does not have access to a color printer. There are some days where I am unable to print or make any copies for my students. Having this printer will truly help my students reach their goals and feel comfortable in a diverse classroom culture.
Please consider helping me bring a splash of color to my classroom, and promote diversity!
