Our school encourages our students to participate in creative writing contests, the Georgia Student Media Festival, the Georgia state PTA Reflections contest, and the district STEM and STREAM competitions. My students love getting any opportunity to create projects and participate in these wonderful contests. For example, with very little technology resources in our program, my Kindergarten students created a Abobe Spark video that won at the Georgia Student Media Festival! It was so rewarding to see their joy! These Chromebooks will allow my students the use of technology with a variety of programs, such as Google Classroom, slide presentations, and Spark Adobe to create, produce, and share their amazing creativity! They will also provide a tremendous resource for all of my students to participate in Khan Academy online math lessons, writing projects for the Reading Quiz Bowl competitions, and enhance their research and communication skills.
