My pre-k program provides children from various ethnicities, cultures and various incomes an opportunity to learn and flourish within the classroom. I teach at an early school; class starts at 7:45 AM. Most students eat in the classroom but the few that don't, need something to do. Puzzles and drawing in journals gets "boring" after a while so I need help to liven up my classroom.
The students in my class are vibrant and inquisitive and they love center time! Center activities provide one-on-one opportunities for students to learn or explore skills. Research says students learn best through play. These center activities will further develop the emerging skills students need to master.
My students will be overjoyed when they see the new ways they can learn!
