Making current events relevant to students. Engaging them in a manner that sparks debate and emotion for the world around them. This magazine produces articles that are relevant and important to the state of our country and the state of our world. The next generation of voters and thinkers needs early exposer to these ideas and issues.
By incorporating these current event materials, students will get the opportunity to actively think instead of just listening and repeating information. My hope is that by making current events a weekly part of our history class, that all students will be engaged in the learning process and have a chance to be exposed to a variety of topics that will hopefully spark and fuel passion that encourages a taste for life-long learning.
