Looking for the "just right book" is important! With additional ChromeBooks in the library, students will have more access to the library catalog to search for their desired book. Students will be able to place holds on books they would like to read in our library and have access to the online ebooks. Finding that "just right book" counts! If students find the books that they enjoy and connect with in our library, their interest in reading will increase. When students read more, their reading skills will improve! In our library, I also work on 21st century literacy skills, teaching students how to navigate online resources and databases. Having these skills will help our students be successful, online researchers and engaged readers. You can help improve our students reading skills and access by helping us purchase ChromeBooks for our school library.
