In the education world, the link between color printouts and comprehension – as well as engagement – has been shown to be strong. Fifty Four percent of students are more likely to read a handout that’s printed in color. Nearly seven in 10 students can better comprehend new information when delivered through a color format. More than three-quarters of students report having better information recall when they read it on a color page. I teach 50 3rd grade students in Augusta Georgia. 100% of students receving free lunch at our school. My classroom is in great need of a new color printer and some ink catridges. This new printer will benefit all students in my classroom, as we do not have access to a printer at all. This printer will definitely liven up the classroom as well as make the classroom student-friendly and engaging.
