Teaching in a fifth grade inclusion class means that my diverse learners all need access to books at their level. While our classroom has a starter library, what is missing are specifically leveled books that could be categorized by level in the classroom so children would be able to know exactly where their leveled books are.
Being able to have below, above, and at level 5th grade books from the Guided Reading Collection will allow them to read at their just right level, opening the doors to a world of learning within literature.
The literature magnetic teaching charts will serve as reference for students during the day, whether when completing work by themselves or in groups. Students can reference them when writing, reading, and discussing books and ideas during ELA time!
