Our school is located in a rural historic community and has approximately 450 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. About 70 percent of my students fall below the poverty level and qualify for free or reduced lunch.
My students come to PE eager to learn and move.
They love to play games, learn about safety, and healthy eating. Because they come to me with different skill levels and abilities, it is my job to develop already existing skills, introduce new skills, and make students confident while moving their body.
