I have a great food science lab in my classroom with 4 full kitchens. However, the cookware in my lab is old and not safe, so it is in need of replacement. While these new pots, pan, and griddles my students can continue to learn about their food from gate to plate. They can learn not only how food is raised, processed and marketed, but also how to prepare that food in safe, healthy ways.
We live in a low income somewhat rural area where people don't always know where their food comes from or how to prepare healthy meals. These pots and pans would allow me to continue to teach my students new, healthy ways to prepare food that is all around them that they can take home and teach their families.
