My students love reading nonfiction texts! They love reading about things that are true and occurring in the world around them. In our district we have limited supplies to support my curious students. Time for Kids can supplement in an engaging manner.
I am excited to give them the opportunity to read Time for Kids and learn about events happening outside of their little community.
Most of our students are low income, and do not have the opportunity to leave their city. I hope to use this to enhance our Social Studies curriculum by allowing them to see the world outside our little community.
