My middle school classroom includes 13 AMAZING students who receive special education services with primary disability categories of autism, intellectual disability, and other health impairments. They are provided with specially designed instruction and supplementary aids/services that are individualized to their academic and functional levels. Instruction is delivered within a small group or 1:1 to effectively meet varying student needs. The students learn, role-play, and practice social, self-regulation, career readiness, independent living, employment, and post-secondary education skills throughout the school year!
