Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and making the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they will be able to choose a location in the classroom that will allow them to reach their learning goals. Currently my students only have the option to sit at their assigned tables. When students are given choice they can take ownership of their learning. Giving them more options for choosing their workspace will allow them to be more successful. I want my classroom to be a place where students can explore history and develop their analytical skills in a way that fits them best.
