Students love to be on the go! A classroom carpet would allow them the opportunity to get up an move. Having a classroom carpet would create a space for all of my students to come and listen to an interactive read aloud and participate in activities.
An area to gather together would change the climate from a conventional setting to a home for learning. Providing the students with a comfortable meeting area would foster a supportive community in the classroom. Creating this space would help the students to feel ownership in the classroom and increase their motivation to learn.
