My students are 6th and 7th graders in Michigan who live in a transient city. The school is a middle school for 6th through 8th grade. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch due to poverty. They are very a high energy group who love to do "hands-on" science. When doing science they feel like "real scientists!"
