Headphones and mice will help students complete their assignments and projects independently and faster on their Chromebooks. In our class, we use Getepic.com and I-READY. These programs require audio. Currently, we do not have headphones and students have a difficult time focusing on their books or lesson. For some activities, we use the touchscreen, but due to some physical needs, have a mouse will help students gain the independence and speed that they always wished for in a class. We currently have one two mice for them to share. Which makes it a little difficult. I know for some independence in the classroom might sound like no big deal, but for a student with physical disabilities, being able to complete something on her or his own it is a major accomplishment. Chromebooks along with headphones and mice give my students this amazing gift.
