With 35 books my entire class of 5th graders will be able to read together and explore the novel together. Being able to explore a novel will help students connect and find a love for reading. The Hobbit is a great book for students to read and connect with. Students will be able to live in a world of imagination and learn to explore their own imagination. Students will use the book to create projects and explore language. I can't wait to share this book with my students because I loved this book when I was in elementary school also.
