My students are so excited to learn and to come to school. They are second language learners and often their parents speak very little English as well. But these students try hard and love school. Our classroom is a safe place for them to learn and grow. Many of my students live in poverty and some do not even have crayons or books at home. Every year I am amazed by the growth these children make.
