In my classroom, we currently have a six-year-old TV that I bought with my own money. During the past year, it has started breaking down, requiring hundreds of dollars out of pocket to repair. A Smart LED TV will allow my students to view educational content, display the video/multimedia projects we create, and interact with their peers and teachers in new and innovative ways! Students will have an opportunity to watch videos showing historical locations and scientific phenomena they would normally not be able to experience. But that is only the beginning! We will produce our own TV news shows and mini-movies to exhibit what we have learned about the world around us! Students will also be able to mirror and display all the presentations and multimedia projects they create using Google Drive on their Chromebooks. With this Smart TV, a whole new universe of learning will be available to them!
