We've undertaken several engineering challenges this year with materials I've been purchasing for the 300 total students I work with, which isn't sustainable for me. Students love when we do the challenges and I want to keep doing them without using my savings.
I think having the BINS and some building toys would expand what our options are for challenges and could be re-used rather than a one-time gumdrop/toothpick building (which was still fun!). I am planning on using the materials with k-2 students but potentially, I could come up with challenges for the 3-5th-grade students, I see as well.
