I want to provide free piano lessons during our mega-lunch hour so that students who do not have money for private lessons, or those who do not have time in their schedules, or those who do not have transportation...all have the opportunity to take lessons. After all, nobody ever said, "I wish I hadn't taken piano lessons," but some never get the opportunity. Usually it requires owning their own piano, having money to pay a teacher, and having a way to get to their scheduled time.
In order to do this, kids need keyboards. They need lesson books. And they need to know people value their talents enough to invest in them. This will effect them in every aspect of their childhood.
