My students are hungry, for learning and food!
Fruit snacks and crackers are just the thing my students need to get them through the school day.
Having healthy snacks available for homeless students, as well as my other hungry kids will allow them to be able to focus on academics and not their stomachs growling from hunger. A variety of choices will also help my students because all of them have different tastes.
I want to make sure they are given what is needed. Not just school supplies, but supplies that will keep them focused on their learning until the time to eat a sustaining meal.
