Our school is starting a Makerspace for students: a place to tinker, explore, create, and try new things. Our goal is to have a variety of items within our Makerspace to engage a wide range of students. Middle school years are challenging for many students. We are seeking to provide a space where students can find success and inspiration, challenge and growth. Hands-on learning is key to our Makerspace! Bloxels, Jenga, Brackits, and Cubelets in our new space will encourage play, creativity, design, and opportunities for all students in our building. We are committed to student-centered learning spaces where collaboration takes a front row seat. This new space will allow students to work together to solve challenges, create and construct prototypes, and become inspired!
