Designing in CAD programs is great since so many professionals and disciplines use a form of CAD to begin the creative invention process. With a 3D printer these kids will not only see their ideas and designs, but touch and show off their creation to everyone. The enormous pride that comes from this accomplishment will truly make a difference in a child’s life. In addition to the printer itself, the requested supplies will ensure that each student gets the opportunity to see their creations print. The extra filament and spare parts will help keep the printer and their imaginations working. Plus in this technology-driven world, any interaction with new technology will spark their curiosity as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology.
