My job as a teacher and a coach is to help young people. One of my main goals is to help them develop skills that they either may not have or help them improve further upon ones they may already possess.
These young men are the future of our world. I intend to use this book study as a way to help them develop some leadership and teamwork skills. I believe the work we put in with our players in developing them as people helps improve the culture and community we leave in. If we as coaches and teachers help our players and students become better people, they'll help make the world a better place for themselves and everyone else around them.
We will start with a smaller group for the book study. They then will recruit teammates to "get on the bus" and commit to positivity and work towards a common goal. In the end, all the players in our program will read the book, The Energy Bus. We will then use the principles in this book as a foundation for all that we do each day.
