I am hoping to provide more STEM resources for my kindergarten class of future engineers. My students love to create. I want to build on their natural gravitation towards STEM activities. I would like to provide my students with a classroom that will help them to develop their STEM capabilities. I have chosen STEM resources that will not only encourage curiosity and exploration, but will develop their fine motor skills, and STEM vocabulary. The selections of STEM resources I have found include a coding robot, snap circuit set, LEGO table, math manipulative items, and building blocks. These items will engage my students, and become a focus of our daily routine.I would like to use the coding robot during whole group science instruction time, and use the snap circuits during small group time. During our play to learn choice time, I will make all building items available for my students to explore with.I cannot wait to see what my little engineers can build when they have the resources available in our classroom.
