Flexible seating would benefit my students learning for the better because it would cause them to be more attentive in class due to that they are in a comfortable environment. This would appeal to my kinesthetic learners and to all children in general who have to be constantly moving to stay concentrated. For example, I have 3 students who have diagnosed ADHD and have a history of constantly getting in trouble for a compulsion to stay active that they can’t control. Flexible seating would allow these students and all students to get as much activity as possible, while still learning.
Furthermore, seats such as bean bags, wobble chairs, balance balls, etc. would be a simple, but productive way to get my students constantly engaged.
