My students are 7th graders that come from very diverse, low income households in Queens, New York. Each and every day, they come to school to learn but often face varying difficulties and challenges along the way.
Many of my students do not have the resources they need, but I want to make absolutely sure that they always feel supported in their classroom when they're with me.
My students are interested in learning and connecting with the material through interactive and engaging lessons that incorporate technology, games, foldables, task cards, and projects. These activities allow my students to be able to show their personality and creativity.
