I teach special education students with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe cognitive / physical disabilities. Some of my students are non-verbal, and all have learning challenges.
My project aims to obtain iPads which are a wonderful learning tool for children with ASD diagnoses. There are apps that are specifically available for communication and learning challenges, which would make a world of difference for my students.
