Since March, I have put myself in front of a computer learning a new system, learn a whole new way of teaching and everyday seeing that my students log-on just to see my face in the camera has been my highlight of my day. However, because I've spent so much time in front of the screen I hadn't noticed how many back problems this remote learning will come with. I have raised my desk with old encyclopedia books but I think it's time I ask for help for a better desk. My students enjoy being in my class and that is due to the fact that I'm always standing up moving around for them, I think this has made a difference to their attendance. At the moment I'm at a 98% attendance rate, it can also be my bubbly personality but the standing up has definitely helped my personality and my teaching. Thank you so much for your support, it definitely won't go unnoticed.
