I will replace the tattered paperback books in my class library. The students keep telling me to buy new books but I don’t have the financial resources to do this on my own. I would love new resources to support my students’ love of reading. They love all subjects and enjoy learning. I will be able to teach with current books to supplement my lessons to meet the Common Core standards in Language/ELA. I have needed biographies and non fiction books as our school library has not been able to supply biographies this year. Our library also reduces student borrowing to 2 books/ week. Therefore, my class library supports the need for my class’ reading needs.
