With so many of these students in our school’s RTI and speech programs, multiple literacy stations are a must! These stations will be used daily to enhance sight word recognition, phonics, blending, and word decoding skills. These stations will be used in conjunction with tier 1, 2, and 3 reading interventions, as well as used to support the speech therapy program that so many of the students participate in. Stations are a fun way incorporate these essential skills into our daily reading intervention time. The sight words puzzles, blending magnets, word pattern practice, and sentence building literacy stations I am requesting will be used to support reading and language growth so that hopefully most of them will graduate from RTI and speech throughout the school year.
