In 5th grade, we begin our journey of transforming into master writers. In order to do this, my students must have tools to increase their vocabulary. With learning how to use a dictionary and thesaurus, they can become a wizard of words and turn "I had a good day," into "I had a magnificent day." It is vital that students have the necessary tools provided to them to increase their vocabulary and transform their writing. Not only with the dictionary and thesaurus combo help with writing, it can also assist in building better readers as they can look up the meaning of unknown words.

About my class
