My goal this year is to have all classes (K-5) working on keyboarding. I teach Kindergarten through 5th grade. These keyboards are great! They are color coded with the appropriate finger placement, have larger keys, and are sized for children's small hand size. This will benefit my younger grades, as well as support our special needs students. We will start with lessons with the QWERTY keyboard placement, starting slowly with ASDF JKL;, and then adding the top rows, bottom rows and symbols. Students are excited to learn about typing, and last year I even purchased a typewriter where they were able to see the "old way" of typing before computers.
