Feeding minds start with feeding lives. All of the supplies that I chose are snacks that my students will be consuming for as long as there is supply available for them. These are really urgent needs as these students don't want to eat school lunch every single day. Instead, they wait for dismissal at 2 pm for the next opportunity to eat. At a little past noon, however, students are becoming restless already. Most of them are off the wall and it's difficult to contain them. These snacks might be answer to this. In addition, these snacks will also promote our school-wide reward system for better behavior. It will also encourage students to remain in class and do the work. Consequently, it will lead to better grades and credits which is something that schools with these demographics constantly worry about year after year.
