We have started a club at our school where all students can come and play board games, role-playing games, strategy games, and console games, in a safe and inclusive environment. The goal of this club is to inspire the students that do not normally join anything to join something, and provide them with a place to socialize and indulge their passions and interests.
Students will finally have the opportunity to compete and work as a team in an environment that is not sports related. We will provide them with games such as Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons and Dragons, as well as classics like chess and Risk. Through meeting and competing weekly, we hope that these students form strong bonds and feel like they belong.
