My students are curious, smart, and determined to succeed. They come from all different races, socioeconomic backgrounds, and academic abilities. My students include from the have to the have-nots, the academically gifted to the learning disabled, and the avid readers to the non-readers. The students in my room show continuous courage in their daily education. We support each other, encouraging and celebrating risk takers. Although the class includes clusters of student that are learning disabled, English language learners, and gifted students with different needs, they all strive when given proper support and are held to high expectations.
