A classroom rug will help my scholars with playing musical games and connecting with one another. As of right now we do most of our instruction by our desks and seats and it is difficult to facilitate guided movement and general games when there are desks as their only "home base".
The rug that I have selected will help my scholars by giving them additional seating options that make more sense with a musical learning environment. In addition, it would provide a cozy spot closer to the smart board. It will also make it much easier for both large/small instrument instruction, music stations, and general circle/meeting times.
