To be successful in school students need school supplies to participate in the classroom. This includes loose leaf paper, pencils, folders, erasers, pencil sharpener, instructional text and organizers. Having supplies needed will be one less thing for students to be concerned about.
The school supplies will allow the students to be prepared to participate in activities during instruction.
Students are more engaged in class and more prepared for assignments when they have supplies needed to take notes and do homework at home. Students that lack basic supplies will feel inferior or less than other students. Having supplies may seem like small things to worry about but it makes a big in the life of a student. It also reduces time in the classroom spent on trying to create other options.
