Students do not often have the opportunity to work hands on with the technology that shapes their world. They know how to use it, but do they really understand how it works?
With my class, students get to peek behind the curtain to see how the magic works. With access to Arduino kits, students can learn about circuits and the relationship between processing and logic. They can gain real world experience by building something and working as part of a team to accomplish a larger goal. As we prepare students for College and Career Readiness, these skills learned will prepare students for both.
