All preschool children should have the ability to spend time on the ground working. While working on the ground children build their core muscles. Even at the ages of three and four children should be encouraged to spend time on the their tummy's. The more time that a child spend on their tummy's the greater effect it will have on their motor development. These rugs will be used in our block area and library area.
The rugs will allow the children to build and work on literacy skills freely, without sitting on a cold tile floor.
The rugs will help to create a warm environment that the children can feel at home in.
