Most of our students come from Palolo Valley Homes, a state housing project for underprivileged families of need. More than 90% of my class receives a free & reduced meal provided by our school. Students have many needs: from proper shoes to prescription glasses to school supplies; our families face many challenges. We partner with many outside groups like Rotary Clubs of America to Paʻēpaʻē o Waikolu. But, there is always more we can do! I try my best by providing the children a safe, clean & comfortable space where they feel comfortable & welcomed to Express & BE who they truly ARE.
