My school district is fully learning via Distance Model and students have struggled to learn to read effectively.
My students clearly missed attending in-person learning but have persevered during these unparalleled times and endured with great determination. Most of these reading materials will be sent home to students so they can learn at home. Some of the materials will also be used to teach remotely aided by the portable projector and headphones.
My students love to read animal books and non-fiction stories. My requested materials such as a portable projector, Early Readers Sight-Based activities, phonics instruction, and resources focusing on reading comprehension will surely enhance my students to become better and fluent readers.
