In an ever changing, constantly plugged in world, there is still nothing like holding a good book in your hands. This project will allow us to purchase a new classroom set of three of the novels and plays we read throughout the year in our 12th grade language arts classes. Senior English classes read Hamlet in the fall, All Quiet on the Western Front in the winter and Night during the spring trimester.
Many of our current classroom copies are falling apart and have missing pages; this project will give students new, intact books to read while they explore the many worlds that literature makes accessible to them.
