My kindergartners are entering the world of reading! I currently have tons of books on tape and CD but just realized that my player no longer works. I created this project in hopes of replacing my broken radio as well as acquiring some stadium seats to make their listening a bit more comfy and enjoyable.
I believe all students should have the opportunity to listen and read as many stories as they can so that they can grow to love books.
This listening center will provide up to 5 students at a time to listen to stories. We have 3 daily rotations, so 12-15 students will enjoy the listening center every day. Many parents are unable to read to their child at home, therefore having these items will make a literary difference in their lives.
