My students will use these computers to carry out a variety of Internet-based activities to enhance their educational experience. In addition to accessing various educational websites (Brainpop, Reflex, IXL, Nearpod, etc...), my students will have full access to google classroom where they will be given differentiated instruction on their level! They will be able to post assignments, create projects, and participate in classroom discussions online! This online platform will not only help individualize lessons, but also allow students to self monitor progress and target weaknesses. Blended Learning incorporates both learning content and skills in the classroom with a teacher, and learning online using platforms that tailor lessons to students' specific needs. Chromebooks are a cost efficient way to bring technology into the classroom that allows students to access content online. In our literacy classroom, students' learning is personalized through online reading programs, audiobooks, research projects, and more, which is all made possible through having technology for students to access the resources available to them.
